Bridal Shower!

Tara & Amy did an awesome job of pretty much planning everything and I just had to show up. Sammie had shopping to do (which she is awesome at with her years of experience) and so did Lauren but she had to go to Ely for her athletic training football camp. She was only excused because it's for the Rebels, and anything goes for the Rebs! So here are some pictures of that awesome day!!

What a great day! It was so much fun and I am so grateful for all my family and friends that could make it what it was!! We're only 2 days away from getting married!! Tonight is my bachlorette party and tomorrow is Tylers bachelor party! Also we have to do our rehearsal tomorrow early evening! But it really is going to be the perfect last few nights before I marry my best friend and can finally be called Liz Brox.

14 days!!!

We are 14 days away from committing ourselves to each other in front of our friends and family and becoming husband and wife. Liz has officially been baptized for just over 6 months so we are only about 6 months away from making the covenants for time and eternity, if you can't tell we are thrilled and counting down the seconds. But because I (liz) am horrible at keeping up at things when I feel overwhelmed I figured I would upload a bunch of pictures to summarize what we've been up to!

We played with cutie babies at family night! <3
I stole my almost niece.

I love Sophia! She is the cutest

What a pretty, pretty girl!

Kylan came down from BYU-I to visit!

Tyler played scramble with friends and I stole his hat.

Watched Supernatural, a lot.

Went to the Four Kegs: Tylers old childhood hangout with his old best friend.

Snowboarding kids 2. It gets serious on my end.

We have just been trying to stay as busy as possible to make time pass quickly. We really can't wait to start our lives together and be a married couple.

Fired

Learning that your wedding coordinator is fired 41 days before the wedding was probably the thing that made me turn into a big scary green monster, I'm not talking about the hulk. I unfortunately did not have stylish purple man-pris nor a 6 pack. Instead I've been wearing my sexy unlv sweat pants with my hair in a messy bun and smeared mascara. Did I mention I've also had a heating pad on my stomach because I've been in a horrible unbearable amount of pain all weekend?

I picked the place based on location first, next I picked it because I was obsessed with how beautiful the venue looked and was designed. Knowing that some guy named Tony who is a golf pro expert is possibly in charge of decorating my wedding gives me anxiety. My main concern on my wedding day is not chipping any nail polish, not making sure the venue is beautiful, that was why I was paying for such an extravagant place.

Have I mentioned she didn't take a lot of notes because she remembered everything? But now that she is no longer there I have to meet with Tony and tell him everything AGAIN (hoping I remember) because he wants to make sure everything is in order for our wedding that is 40 days away.

Now is the time I will  be relying on my bridesmaids tara, amy, lauren, and sammie to do work. I need help. And of course Tyler and his army will be helping once we get some ties and start addressing our invites.

We are going for our cake tasting and picking out the design on the 21st! I am very excited! Plus I have two bridal showers to go to this week! It's wedding season again and I love it!!!!!

I'm keeping optimistic and nothing will be bringing me down! xO

& so it begins

And they were married, and given in marriage, and were blessed according to the multitude of the promises which the Lord had made unto them.
4 Nephi 1:11

We are not officially married yet, but it sure seems like it. And I am sure facebook is really tired of hearing all of our mushy gushy stuff, so I figured I would do the cool thing and get a blog to share pictures of our journey together and anything else that happens! We have recently picked out an apartment to live in but really it is more like a condo. It is huge! Tyler is slowly starting to move things in, in theory. But it is more I keep attempting to unpack but with school and wedding planning going on it just seems like the least of my worries. But I'm sure I will get to it this weekend.

We're only 41 days out from getting married. We got our guest book in the mail today which just helped make things seem more real, seeing my name as Elizabeth Brox instead of Growe. Our place where we're having the ceremony and reception is gorgeous. I am so excited to get married there. I love the fact that my mom and step-dad will be able to witness it and that I will still be able to get sealed on my year anniversary from when I was baptized (February). It really is the perfect fairytale and something I had prayed for before I even got baptized.

Our photographer posted our engagement pictures on his blog. I realized my sarcasm must be pretty bad when he included that on his blog, I would stop but I just don't think it is a possible thing. :)

Lately we have been doing a lot of staying at home and watching good series on tv. We finished Justified, which we love of course. We can't get enough of it. And now we're focusing our time on Supernatural, even though I get a little freaked out in parts it's nice to know my fiance is there to make it all better.

This is the first time I've blogged, unless you consider answering the survey questions from myspace actual blogging, which I don't, so hopefully I will have more to talk about!
